Do Recent Discoveries Support a Designed Universe?
Dr. Walter L. Bradley claims, “My personal experience as a lecturer supports the growing openness to intelligent design theory in the academic world. Having given over 135 talks on this subject to more than 65,000 students and professors at over 65 major university campuses from 1986 to 2002, I have observed a dramatic change in audience receptivity to the idea that an intelligent designer of the universe may exist. I have noted a widespread acceptance (albeit begrudging in some quarters) that this growing body of scientific evidence demands an intellectually honest reckoning, as no exclusively naturalistic explanation seems capable of rising to the occasion.” (works sited)

Nothing new, really.
In Dawkin's book, the God Delusion, he writes about the "Goldilock's zone", a set of 6 numbers in physics such that, when interlinked, makes every number indispensable to life, and some took it to allude to the hand of God.
If one is to take physics as a guide, there are many fixed, physical properties other than quantum physics and atoms. I can safely say that under vacuous circumstances, everything (including the feather) falls with an acceleration of 9.81m/s2. But it doesn't allude to any design. It is just the way physics works on our planet in relation to gravity.
There is much we do not know. In fact, the more we learn, the more we realize that we don't. It is quite ludicrous and non-scientific to credit these rather breaktaking discoveries to the hands of deities.
