Girls Gone Wild In The Church
I was recently speaking with a pastor I know and he mentioned that there was a church he knew of (not sure if present or if where he had once been pastor) that a group of older women named themselves Chicks Gone Wild.
Granted I can see where these women may have thought it fun to use such a title, but, honestly, for the cause of Christ?
What are we Christians thinking when we use worldly titles and expressions and bring them into the church for spiritual awareness? Do we honestly think it pleases God to take a known thing (name, etc.) of sin and try to tweak it slightly and add a Christian connotation to it? Let’s face it – that just isn’t right.
Proverbs 14:9, Fools make a mock at sin
Is this what we are doing?
No wonder an unsaved person can feel comfortable at church and never have a desire to trust Christ as their Savior.
God help us!

Beast,
I have deleted your most recent post. There is no reason to add perversion to my blog through your comments.
I am sure if you would like to comment you could do so without such "extra".
Most of your comments have been okay, but your last few seem to be perverse for no apparent reason but as if to try to cause an argument.
Thanks.
Perverse?
Your post here is about sex, of course any sexual inneundos are norms!
Please, Mr Splinter, before you start punishing ninja turtles for ogling at female turtles, the least you could do is not to put female turtles into the tank.
Beast,
Girls Gone Wild is a known production of glorified fornication, but my post is not based on the sexual perversion of such but that the church should not take things of the world that a Christian would associate with sin, and slightly change it to bring them into the church.
Mr Splinter
The bible is obsessed with sex! When God anniliated the pagan tribe, he explicitly demands for the sacrifice of virgins, and the rest of the 32000 to his victorious christian yakuzas.
And you are telling me the church is not about sex? Well, maybe the church isn't even Christian in nature.
Compromise with the world is the fault that ruins the church and it's witness.
Seems like the beast has named himself appropriately. I like the way you are handling his banter.
